North Carolina Panel: Certain Claims Can Continue Against Construction Company

RALEIGH, N.C. – The North Carolina Court of Appeals on June 21 partially reversed summary judgment granted to the defendant in a construction defects action involving the building of a new beach home, allowing breach of contract and breach of warranty claims to continue (Johnny Williams, et al. v. Houses of Distinction Inc., No. COA10-30, N.C. App.; 2011 N.C. App. LEXIS 1232).
