New Jersey Panel Affirms Dismissal Of Defective Roof Repair, Injury Action

TRENTON, N.J. – A New Jersey appellate panel on May 31 upheld the dismissal of a construction defects action with a personal injury angle, agreeing that the plaintiff failed to establish a link between the defendants’ repair of her roof and her fall and injury five months later (Geraldine Poteat v. C-Penn Roofing, et al., No. A-6058-09T1, N.J. Super., App. Div.; 2011 N.J. Super. Unpub. LEXIS 1384).
