Utah Appeals Panel: Woman Lacked Expert Regarding Rotator Cuff Injury

SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Court of Appeals on July 29 affirmed summary judgment for the defendants in a medical malpractice action, agreeing that the plaintiff failed to present expert testimony regarding a rotator cuff injury she allegedly suffered while hospitalized after back surgery (Midge Morgan v. Intermountain Health Care Inc., et al., No. 20091044-CA, Utah App.; 2011 Utah App. LEXIS 245).
