Texas Man Pleads Guilty To Involvement In DME Fraud Scheme

HOUSTON – A Texas man on Aug. 5 pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to violate the Anti-Kickback Statute in connection with a scheme to defraud Medicare by submitting fraudulent claims for durable medical equipment (DME) that either was never provided or where inferior products were provided to beneficiaries (United States of America v. Birdie Leroy Revis aka Leroy Revis, No. H-10-705, S.D. Texas).
