Judge: Agent, Agency Are Not Indispensible Parties In Misrepresentation Action

COLUMBIA, S.C. – A South Carolina federal judge on June 22 found that an insurance agent and agency are not indispensible parties in a suit attempting to void a policy for material misrepresentations by the insured on the policy application (Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. v. Edna Ruff d/b/a The Tavern, No. 0:11-1011, D. S.C.; 2011 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 66754).
