New Jersey Federal Judge: Claim Under Fraud Prevention Act Is Time-Barred

TRENTON, N.J. – A New Jersey federal judge on June 30 granted an insured summary judgment on an insurer’s counterclaim under New Jersey’s Insurance Fraud Prevention Act, finding that the counterclaim was time-barred (Connie Carr v. NJ Cure Insurance Co., No. 09-3760, D. N.J.; 2011 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 71933).
