Florida Panel Denies Motion To Rehear Hurricane Wilma Coverage Suit

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – A Florida appeals panel on July 6 denied an insurer’s request to reconsider its April 27 finding that a lower court abused its discretion in denying a property purchaser’s motion for new trial in a Hurricane Wilma coverage dispute (Central Square Tarragon LLC v. Great Divide Insurance Company, No. 4D09-4795, Fla. App, 4th Dist.; 2011 Fla. App. LEXIS 10510; See May 2011, Page 16).
