Federal Jury Awards $10M To Parents For Death Of Son Who Was Shot By Taser

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A federal jury in North Carolina on July 19 returned a $10 million verdict for the family of a teen who died after being shot by a Taser device by a police officer, finding that the product was sold with inadequate warnings and instructions (Tammy Lou Fontenot, et al. v. Taser International Inc., No. 10-125, W.D. N.C.).
